Here´s a list of my top restaurants perfect for a business dinner with colleagues or clients:

1) For the best patatas bravas in Barcelona & elaborate tapas dishes, try Taverna del Clinic in Eixample.
With a menu of over 60 delicious options plus a passionate and knowledgeable sommelier to guide you through the best Spanish wines, you´ll have a truly enjoyable evening. Small yet sophisticated and regularly visited by locals.

2) For paella with sea views, head to Pez Vela beneath the impressive W Hotel building on the seafront. Take in views of the Mediterranean on a sunny terrace as you enjoy lunch.

This restaurant is part of the recognised Catalan Tragaluz group. It´s modern & often frequented by local business people as well as casual visitors. 

Average price: You can order a la carte (35 euros) or from a group menu of your choice (range from 43 to 56 euros)

Get up close to the impressive W Hotel on the sea

3) Incredible imported Argentinian, Aberdeen Angus and Kobe Steak can be found at Casa Paloma. Sometimes only steak will do and this is the perfect option. At this restaurant you can also order a delicious steak or tuna tartar which is freshly prepared right in front of you. It´s also a good location for a working dinner as the ambience is relatively quiet.

4) Impress at a Michelin Star Restaurant and take your colleagues or clients to Manairo Restaurant. Run by head chef Jordi Herrara, the dishes surprise and delight and all at reasonable prices for a 1 Michelin star restaurant. Taste the best of Catalunya with his incredible "calamar de huevo" which is not what it appears to be.

5) For luxury surroundings and elegant cuisine, head to The Cotton House Hotel. Enjoy a set menu during the week at 25 euros, or sit back and relax with a cocktail on the terrace after work. The perfect venue, service and high quality cuisine.

6) For something different...If you´re tired of tapas and enjoy Italian cuisine, restaurant Xemei offers the best in Barcelona. A short 5 minute taxi drive from La Fira & you can enjoy the Venetian brothers home-made & satisfying works of art. Although the restaurant itself is unassuming, the dishes & wine are indulgent & delicious.
