5 Plans for September
After the holidays I always feel the need to have a few plans for the month ahead. Whether it´s eating, shopping or organising a night out, there are always new things to discover in Barcelona...
Shop
Sunday 21st September
My favourite market is back this month, so head down to the Lost & Found Market at the beach for some vintage shopping and an afternoon of browsing, beers in the sun and music.
Eat
At last the cool new Flax & Kale restaurant is open in the Raval. The sister restaurant of Teresa Carles, Flax & Kale is a cool new space for a delicious and healthy lunch or dinner and perfect for going with a group of friends for the night. Stop by at Teresa´s Juicery next door & kick off your September detox with a green juice whilst wandering the streets of the Raval.

Night Out
No matter how cool you are, when you´ve have a few drinks with your mates, no one can resist the urge to dance to Queen´s Dont´t Stop me Now or try to recreate Beyonce´s Single Ladies (personally tried many a time!) For commercial 80s, 90s, 00s pop and rock and some serious dancing, have a night out at Cupcake at the Apolo club in Parallel. Sign up to the guestlist online or pay 10 euros (with drink) entrance on the night. Every Thursday from 12.30am....Resist it if you can!!

So it´s that time again...Barcelona´s biggest party, La Mercé kicks off on Friday 19th until wednesday 24th September. See live music, dancing, human castles and much more around the city.
My top 2 recommendations are seeing the brilliant Brits, The Klaxons live (FOR FREE!!) on Saturday 22nd at the Old Damm Factory and heading to the cool street food market, Van Van Market (the first all food truck market in Barcelona). Find it in the Ciutadella Park from 19th-24th.
