I´ve done the background work so you don´t have to - and here´s my list of some of the best restaurants, clubs, hotels and parties in Barcelona for New Years Eve...

Go big! If you think this is the year to do New Year´s Eve in 5 star style then the Hotel Arts and W Hotel in Barcelona are guaranteed to offer you black tie dinner and gala style celebrations.

Indulge with an elaborate menu in luxurious surroundings at the Hotel Arts. The award-winning Arola restaurant offers you delicious food and then free entrance into the Gran Saló Gaudi party for 200 euros each. (Definitely a special occasion option! but will deliver what  you hope for...) New Year´s Eve Menu

Party at the top of the W Hotel in the Eclipse bar and see in the New Year with friends overlooking the Mediterranean and beautiful city lights of Barcelona. 100 euros per person. (or 50 euros for the party in the W lounge downstairs)
